The owner wanted to incorporate her own art into her overall theme throughout Found boutique. Her unique style is represented through the watercolor art and fabulous geometric wallpaper. She also wanted to incorporate her love of pattern and gold, so she used a Lucite and brass bench that has a faux serpent fabric.

A custom art piece was selected in the beginning and became an inspiration piece for the overall color scheme of this boutique. A glass table with a unique base is an easy centerpiece to capture the customer's eye, and mixed patterns and jewel tones help the jewelry stand out.

To really catch the customer's eye, the owner's existing art piece was used as an inspiration for the color palette. Fun and vibrant wallpaper patterns are found throughout the store, and the shimmering gray wallpaper used behind the cashier area was actually used in the 60's.

The floor of this boutique is a herringbone pattern tile that looks like wood to brighten up the space and pairs well with the fuchsia chairs. The jewelry display unit has panels of antique glass and brass framed shelves to coordinate with the custom clothing rack design

It was important for this boutique to have an inviting and fun experience for shoppers, so a decorative settee was incorporated so guests could be comfortable while shopping. All the molding was added on to give a feminine and Parisian look in a subtle and simple way.

A pre-existing bench that was reupholstered with a shimmering black fabric with coordinating cording was used as a comfortable sitting area in this boutique. The pillow fabric was also used as a wallpaper application in the dressing room and behind the cashier counter.

The street view was an important component for the owner of this boutique. West 5th Street is a busy street in Austin and it was important for her to have mannequins displayed in pop out windows with open views into the store.
