Open and Welcoming
Cabinetry in contrasting shades of white and red are offset by porcelain tiled floors that mimic the look of wood, but have the sparkle of metallics to tie in to the stainless steel appliances.
Eye-Catching Backsplash
A mix of tiles in neutral browns and creams are laid on the diagonal for a cool, graphic-inspired backsplash.
Pops of Red
Glass upper cabinets add to the openness of the kitchen. To give the space a custom look and add a burst of color, the cabinets under the kitchen sink and on one wall are painted red.
Stylish Bar Area
By opening up the kitchen to the family room, Barbara is able to continue cabinetry to create a bar area perfect for entertaining.
Open Dining Area
A wall is removed to open up the kitchen and turn the formerly closed-off dining room into a breakfast area for the family.
Neutral and Cozy
A country-inspired table and chairs in a distressed finish are combined with neutral walls that feature a textured treatment, adding a rustic, earthy quality to the breakfast area.
