1994 Classic Colonial Undergoes a Complete Transformation

MV Architects updated this 1994 builder-grade home to provide a better flow to accommodate the homeowners busy family of five. To help achieve this, one of the bays from their three-car garage was turned into an extra 200 square feet of living space on the main level. The end result is a stunning space that is ready to entertain.

Wine Cellar Under Stairs

A focal point in the family room is the homeowner's wine cellar. MV Architects built it into the area underneath the stairs, a smart use of space that also turns the cellar into a showpiece when entertaining.

Blue and White Breakfast Nook With Paneling

MV Architects used ceiling treatments and decorative wall paneling to help define each space. Pretty shades highlight the breakfast room's bay windows and the designers installed tongue and groove paneling on the ceiling, which then got a coat of white paint.
