Floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides fill this stylish living room with natural light. In turn, the owners can kick back in their swivel chairs and enjoy a cup of coffee with views of the water.

Though this home features a flowing floor plan, the designers wanted to give the owners more intimate zones for entertaining. Here, they used a large white area rug to define the living room, and then layered it with a plush sofa and two swivel chairs for comfortable seating.
