Attach Jewelry to String

Attach jewelry finding to elastic string using a simple slipknot starting at one end and working all the way down. Push a loop of string through the hole in the finding from the back, and then run the end of the string through the loop on the front. This will allow you to move the finding along the string as you wish. Leave plenty of space between the findings for attaching cut-out ornaments.

Cut Out and Attach Ornaments

Print and cut out ornaments and backs (templates in the materials list). Leave just a bit of white showing around the line on the ornaments for the best look. The backs can be cut on the line. Using double-stick tape, sandwich the string between the ornament and the back. Do not attach directly to the string. This will allow you to move the ornament up and down the string as you wish.
