Painted Champagne Flute

- glass champagne flute
- paintbrush
- glass paint
- disposable plate
1: Paint + Dry
First, gather materials and make sure your glass champagne flute is clean and dry (Image 1). Then, add a drop of glass paint to a disposable plate or paint palette. Dip the end of a paintbrush handle into the glass paint and gently dab the handle onto the glass to create a unique pattern (Image 2). Be sure to avoid the rim of the glass completely. Set aside to dry (Image 3). Tip: Once the glass paint is dry, bake the flute to ensure a longer-lasting design. Follow the instructions on the glass paint bottle.

DIY Confetti Popper

Materials + Tools
- paper tube
- balloon
- tissue paper
- decorative wrapping paper
- rubber band
- scissors
- confetti
- clear tape
1: Prep Paper Tube + Cut Balloon
Tie a knot at the bottom of the balloon (Image 1). Then, use scissors to cut the balloon in half (Image 2) and discard the top. Take the bottom half of the balloon and pull it around the end of the paper tube ensuring a snug fit (Image 3). Secure the balloon to the paper tube with clear tape along the trimmed edge.

2: Fill Tube + Secure Top
Next, wrap the paper tube with decorative paper or tissue paper (Image 1) and secure with clear tape. Then fill the popper halfway with confetti (Image 2). Last, cover the popper with a single piece of tissue paper and secure the top with a rubber band (Image 3).

Easy Fringe Garland

Materials + Tools
- metallic tissue paper or gift wrap
- 6' piece of yarn or string
- clear tape
- scissors
1: Measure + Cut + Hang
Cut a piece of yarn or string to 6 feet across and set aside. Next, spread out the metallic paper on a table or workspace. Use scissors to cut the paper vertically into 1/2-inch wide strips leaving an inch along the top (Image 1). Now place the yarn across the center of the 1-inch top flap (Image 2), folding the excess over and securing with clear tape (Image 3). Hang it up and enjoy a festive selfie backdrop (Image 4).

2: Complete the Box

Place some crinkle paper in a large, square gift box and add in all the DIY goodies (Image 1). Throw in some bubbly and celebrate the New Year virtually with all your buddies.
