Mimosa Bar

Set up a drink station for this brunch classic. Have several bottles of champagne or sparkling wine on hand. Provide a few options for juice such as pear, mango and orange. Guests fill glasses halfway with champagne and top with juice and one of many fruit options.

Naughty or Nice Pajama Party Invitation

Invite your guests to brunch where pajamas are required. Use the free printable invitation and simply fill in the details. Print the invitation on card stock, cut it and use standard letter-sized envelopes to send.

Spicy Sausage Balls

Combine 3 cups baking mix, 1 pound of sharp cheddar cheese, 1 pound of spicy ground sausage, and 1/4 cup of diced canned jalapenos in a bowl. Mix well. Roll into small balls and bake on a parchment lined sheet for 12-15 minutes in a 375˚F oven.

Pancake Dippers

Cook breakfast sausage links. Use store-bought or homemade pancakes to roll around cooked links. Wrap each in waxed paper and cool. Before serving, unwrap pancake dippers, place in a casserole dish, cover with lightly damp paper toweling and heat in the oven. Serve with a variety of syrups for dipping.

Spicy Avocado Deviled Eggs

Make 12 boiled eggs. Cut in half lengthwise after cooling. Add half of the yolks and one fresh avocado to a food processor. Add 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons diced jalapeno and salt and pepper to taste. Blitz until smooth. Pipe filling into eggs and top each with a quarter of a cherry tomato.

Puff Pastry Skewers

Thaw puff pastry dough slightly. Cut each sheet into 1-inch strips. Cut each strip in half. Zigzag each strip onto long skewers. Heat frying oil in a heavy pot or deep fryer to 360˚F. Fry each puff zigzag, holding the skewers for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Place skewers on a wire rack to drain and coat with confectioners’ sugar or cinnamon sugar. Serve with chocolate sauce.

Peppermint Mocha Shots

In a pitcher mix 2 parts coffee liqueur, 2 parts chocolate liqueur, and 1 part peppermint schnapps. Simmer an equal amount of milk. Fill shot glasses halfway with alcohol mixture. Fill shot glasses with warm milk. Top with whipped cream and red sprinkles.
