Mix Water and Borax

Measure one cup of warm (not boiling) water (Image 1). Add one teaspoon of borax and stir with a plastic spoon until the borax is completely dissolved (Images 2 + 3). Caution: Borax exposure can irritate the skin or eyes and can also irritate the body if inhaled or exposed. This slime is best-suited for adults; make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after handling the Borax and the finished slime.

Pour Mixture Over Glitter Glue

Pour the water and borax mixture over the glitter glue and let sit for 30 seconds (Images 1 + 2).

Knead Together

Use your hands to gently pull the glue from the bowl and knead it until it doesn’t feel sticky (Image 1). Keep dipping it into the borax mixture and kneading until all of the sticky spots are gone (Image 2).
