Make Terrazzo Clay

Evenly roll out a big piece of white clay on parchment paper using a rolling pin (Images 1 and 2 below). The thicker it is, the longer it will take to bake. We went with about 1/8-inch thickness.

Use a knife to cut and add tiny pieces of the colored clay on top of the white clay (Image 1 below). Use any color palette you'd like. To get the terrazzo look, we went with blue, yellow, green, pink, purple and red. Roll the clay again to combine all the colors (Images 2 and 3 below).

Craft #1: Ring Dish

Use polymer clay to make a colorful ring dish as a gift or for yourself.

Lay another piece of parchment paper and lightly cover with flour to prevent stickiness. Lay the clay on top of the flour, and spray a round cookie cutter with non-stick cooking spray (Image 1 below). Cut out a piece from the clay using the cookie cutter (Image 2 below).

Mold the round clay piece onto a glass bowl. Set aside.

Craft #2: Earrings

Make stylish earrings for less using polymer clay.

Use a small, round cookie cutter to cut a circle from the clay. Use an even smaller round cookie cutter or use a jumbo straw to cut two small circles from the clay. Cut the larger circle in half using a blade or knife (Image 1 below). Poke holes in the two half circles and two small circles for the jewelry hardware using a skewer (Images 2 and 3 below). Set aside.

Craft #3: Cheese Knife

If you love the look of terrazzo, you'll love this craft. Use polymer clay to create a terrazzo design, then wrap around a cheese knife and bake.

Once baked, the cheese knife is party-ready! Pop the ring dish off the glass bowl, and place on your nightstand to hold everyday jewelry. For the earrings, attach the small circle to the top of the half circle using a jump ring (Images 1 and 2 below). Repeat for the other earring. Attach the earring posts to the small circles using strong adhesive (Images 3 and 4 below).
