This colorful and fun garage studio provides a space for casual entertaining, listening to music, or just hanging out. “Instead of doing a regular apartment, we made it look more like a multipurpose room for anything you want to do,” says designer Brian Patrick Flynn.

Versatile Desk

A navy-blue desk can be used for getting work done, attending a video conference, or hosting a podcast from the comfort of this upstairs garage studio with stylish storage and different activity zones.

Tons of Space

The long desk top provides ample space for storing favorite books, displaying plants, or setting up a podcast audio recording. Drawers below offer easy-access storage for office supplies.

Fun in Felt

Artist Sam Sidney, who works in felt, created the whimsical wall art above the desk area. The art depicts musical icons like Dolly Parton, Elvis, and Bob Marley.

Host a Podcast

The long desk area with a fun yellow and red vintage radio is perfect spot for hosting a podcast with friends. “We created an area where people can podcast together,” says designer Brian Patrick Flynn.

Sleek Stools

This multi-use space includes a pair of black bar/counter stools that have a modern profile and sleek look. Use the stools for seating at the desk, or for an impromptu jam session with friends.

Day to Night

The advanced skylights in this garage studio include double pleaded room darkening blinds in a rich Dark Petrol color, that allow you to control the level of light and quickly convert the space from day to night.

Play some Nashville-inspired tunes on the guitar, while you sit back and enjoy this stylish garage studio. “It’s got the most personality and the most color of any room in the home,” says designer Brian Patrick Flynn.
