What designer Brian Patrick Flynn calls the most talked about thing in the house, this stunning reeded floating vanity was sprayed in a high gloss finish of terracotta. This rich color, along with the brass tones of the fixtures, add warmth to this spectacular bathroom.
The show-stopping vanity with durable quartz counter was made by the same local team who built the custom cabinets that add character to the HGTV Urban Oasis 2021 kitchen.
Three brass-tone light sconces provide illumination over the vanity, and coordinate with the capsule mirrors and elegant faucets for the vanity’s double sinks.
The vanity’s two white elongated capsule sinks have a gently curved, organic shape. The distinctive sinks are made of enameled cast iron, with a smooth enameled interior.
A white paneled door with matte black hardware opens the main bath to the customized main closet. Another door connects the bathroom to the peaceful main bedroom next door.
Framed art from an artist with work seen in other parts of the home was used to decorate two of the walls of the bathroom. “The thing about this bathroom that I think really stands out is the fact that you are in a freestanding tub in the middle of an art gallery,” says designer Brian Patrick Flynn. “All the art is framed. It’s plaster, it’s not paper. So even when it gets steamy in here, it’s going to be OK.”
