User-Friendly Design

To make this charming kitchen completely functional, interior designer Linda Woodrum opted for a triangle-style workspace. “When I think of smart design, I think of wisely designing a home that functions well on a high level, so that’s what Kelly Mockingbird, the design coordinator, and I tried to do through this whole process,” explains Linda. “It works well. Everything is in that small triangle, and it’s just very usable and functional.”

“We created a nook that is your iPad docking station, which has an electrical outlet and two USB outlets,” says Jack. “There is an iPad docking station that is magnetic, and it charges your iPad as long as you have it docked there. So it’s a little control station in the kitchen.”
