Later, when Kristen has had enough of house hunting, the couple makes a surprising on-the-spot decision.

Busy professionals Danny and Jennifer are looking for a family-friendly home in St. Petersburg. But while he's obsessed with finding a property on the water, she's more concerned with the rest of their wish list. Enter property expert Egypt Sherrod. Since waterfront real estate comes with a steep price tag not to mention a hefty insurance bill, Egypt kicks off the house hunt with a frank discussion about compromise. But Danny is determined to make his dream a reality. And a major development proves to be a total game-changer.

Single mom Allyson has a new lease on life and is looking for a Tampa home where she and her son Roman can put down roots. But house hunting with an exhaustive checklist and an eight-year-old presents a few unique challenges. Enter property expert Egypt Sherrod. She vows to get the duo set up in a spacious home of their own, but warns Roman that it won't necessarily include a huge slide that goes to the end of the earth. At first, Allyson's expectations and budget don't add up. Then the house hunt takes an interesting turn down memory lane. And incredibly, Allyson's fresh new start could mean a return to her roots.

When their lease expired, Ryan, Kristin, and their three-year-old son moved in with her family. But the couple is desperate to find a home of their own, and hoping their modest budget will afford them the Florida home of their dreams. Property expert Egypt Sherrod is prepared to take on the challenge. But while she promises to find the couple a spacious turnkey home they'll love, warns they'll have to be flexible about the specifics. Ryan is adamant about finding a property in his ideal neighborhood. But quickly learns that a prime location comes with a matching price tag.

For the past two years, Florida singleton Lisa has been looking for a place to call her own. But while she's determined to find the Tampa home of her dreams, she's not exactly sure what she's looking for. Property expert Egypt Sherrod vows to help. And, suspecting she's got a serial searcher on her hands, kicks off the house hunt by trying to establish Lisa's priorities. But even a pro can have trouble figuring out her client, and the two soon have a heart-to-heart about separating Lisa's wants from her needs.

A New York State of Mind

Tired of paying sky-high rent in their native Brooklyn, Terrance and Daniel have set their sights on Charlotte, North Carolina where they can actually afford to buy a home of their own. But house hunting out of state can be tricky, especially when you don't know the first thing about your destination. That's where property expert Egypt Sherrod comes in. She leads the couple on a targeted house hunt and they're immediately impressed by how much home they can get for their money. But while Terrance is willing to pay top dollar for a luxurious house with a pool, Daniel is determined to stick to the lower end of their budget.

Wants vs. Needs

Recently engaged teachers Zack and Kristen are looking for a Charlotte, North Carolina home that will make the grade. But they both have very different ideas about the kind of property that will get a pass. Property expert Egypt Sherrod promises to give them a lesson in real estate 101. And given their long wish list, it all starts with separating the couple's wants from their needs. Getting them on the same page proves tricky, because while Zack wants to find a turnkey townhouse, Kristen has her heart set on a detached home of their own. Egypt warns that no house is perfect from the start. And then the adventure takes a major detour when they visit a game-changing property with incredible potential.
