She's an actress, comedian and self-proclaimed home and renovation enthusiast, and she's the host of HGTV's Ugliest House in America and its spooky spinoff Scariest House in America. In her HGTV series Retta tracks down and tours some of America's most outrageously unappealing, dysfunctional and downright frightening homes and shares her astute observations on them with viewers. Once a "winning" ugly (or scary) house is selected, designer and co-host Alison Victoria comes to the rescue with a $150,000 renovation to transform the unsightly abode into a unique and spectacular showplace.
