Double Doors Lead Into Foyer

Double doors swing open, welcoming guests and residents into this beautiful, contemporary home. Inside, an electric blue dresser and geometric light fixture make for a grand entrance.

Chic, Chevron-Patterned Floor

To create a special feeling in this home's most formal space—the foyer—the designers laid the wood floors in a chevron pattern. The striking light fixture above dazzles by reflecting off the barrel vault ceiling.

Electric Blue Dresser

A coat of royal blue paint makes this dresser into a brilliant headliner. The simple lamp and accessories on top keep the focus on the vibrant color, while a large mirror elongates the space.

Library With Leopard Print Ceiling

A gallery wall takes on simple elegance by using a series of silver frames. Light-colored furniture is the perfect subdued foil for bright accent pillows and the wild leopard-print ceiling.

Colorful Built-In Bookshelves

Here's a fresh twist on the traditional library: the broad bookcase was customized to fit around the pale gray settee, then filled with colorful books and vibrant accessories.

Blue Velvet Chair

This lovely library demonstrates how a basic space can be transformed with colorful accessories. A blue velvet armchair is a stately presence on one side of the room and pulls out the rich array of colors tucked into the bookshelf.

Contemporary Dining Room

With this dining room, the designers fulfilled the homeowners' request for a more dressed up space for entertaining (there's even wine storage!). On the ceiling, molding in a subtle design offers a fun twist on the traditional coffered ceiling.

Glass-Enclosed Wine Cellar

The glass walls of this wine cellar turn the bottles and their colorful labels into art! Residents can proudly display their favorite brands and then enjoy them while entertaining guests.

Great Room Features Neutral Hues

Open concept living still requires spatial planning. In this soothing, neutral-hued home, the designer divided up the great room into three defined spaces: living, casual dining and kitchen.

Striking Black French Doors

Painting these French doors black makes them more dramatic in such an open, airy space. Placed opposite a charcoal couch and cream-colored sectional, the doors offer both a beautiful complement and contrast.

Open Kitchen With Breakfast Bar

One look at this breathtaking, all-white kitchen and "kid-friendly" is not the word that leaps to mind. But durable quartz countertops and an open layout make it a surprisingly practical space, with a breakfast bar for quick meals and conversation.

White Marble Backsplash

For a family who loves cooking and crafts, it made more sense to use marble for a backsplash than for countertops. On the wall, the marble adds gentle movement and energy to the serene setting.

Sliding Safety Gate

This lovely home covers all needs: A safety gate was designed in a lovely Chippendale pattern to corral the youngest family members as well as the family dog. It slides into the wall when not in use.

Custom Iron Railing in Hall

To add graphic punch to this light-filled upper floor hallway, the designer created a custom Chippendale pattern for the iron railings. The piece not only draws visual interest, but also keeps the little ones out of harm's way.

White Craft Room With Pink Curtains

Turning off the hall leads into this unexpected laundry room. On one side is space for laundry baskets and other necessities; the other half of the room features customized cabinetry for storing craft supplies, art essentials and wrapping paper.

Eclectic Master Suite

Accent pillows made with vintage textiles pair with the delicate inlay of the nightstand and striking black-and-white artwork to create a dynamic look for this master bedroom. An upholstered headboard adds a dreamy touch.

Sitting Area With Tufted Sofa

In the opposite corner of the master suite, a tufted sofa and upholstered armchair create a cozy sitting area. Here, royal blue pillows and bright orange lamps instantly infuse the space with vibrant personality.

Stylish Walk-In Closet

The master bedroom also includes this expansive walk-in closet that features dressers, hanging rods and customized shelves for shoes, bags and more. A striking chandelier ties the luxe design together.

Spa Bathroom With Oriental Rugs

This gorgeous spa bathroom takes style pointers from the living room, incorporating colorful Oriental rugs and floor-length curtains into its design. Chevron-pattern tiles even give a rug-like feel to the floor under the soaking tub.
