Erica Lugbill is the co-founder and creative director of Lugbill Designs, a Chicago interior design and renovation firm with over 16 years of experience transforming homes across the city and North Shore. Her path to founding the firm began at established Chicago design-build studios, where years leading high-end residential projects gave her a clear-eyed understanding of what exceptional design actually requires, and what the market was consistently failing to deliver.

In 2010, she and her husband Justin set out to do it differently. Erica brought the design expertise and creative vision; Justin brought entrepreneurial leadership. Together they built Lugbill Designs around a single conviction: clients deserved a more thoughtful, more integrated, and more personal experience from first concept through final installation.

Erica's design philosophy is direct: luxury and livability are not competing ideas. The most beautiful home is one that works as well as it looks. She leads every project with a communication-first approach, listening deeply to how clients live, guiding every decision with clarity, and managing the full complexity of design and construction so clients experience the result, not the process behind it.

Her work is defined by layered materials, custom millwork, and a timeless sensibility grounded in function. As she puts it: "I listen deeply, curate intentionally, and guide you through every decision so your home reaches its fullest potential, and feels unmistakably yours."

Erica has been recognized repeatedly among Chicago's top interior designers and has worked on-camera and behind the scenes for HGTV, Bravo, and the DIY Network. Lugbill Designs is a recurring Best of Houzz honoree for both Design and Service, and Erica is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
