Contemporary Kitchen Is Heart of Family Home

An extra-long island with waterfall countertop is the star of this family-friendly, contemporary kitchen. By removing a wall, the designer opened up this space to the family room beyond, creating an open floor plan that invites people to gather. Cabinetry extends to the ceiling and throughout the breakfast space, maximizing storage. The globe-style pendants are by Arteriors.

Functional Kitchen With Contemporary Flair

Subtle variations in the tile backsplash complement the gray and white marble countertops in this airy, contemporary kitchen. The island sink is directly across from the cooktop and just steps from the fridge, creating an ideal work triangle. Unique globe pendants by Arteriors light up the island in style.
