The firm is headed by managing principal David Balber, AIA, NCARB, RA. Our basic philosophy is to create designs that lift the human spirit while keeping a steady eye on cost control, logistics, code issues, and value engineering. We use a state-of-the-art networking system to create all of our drawings and documents. This advanced hardware and software allows us to study and actually design buildings three-dimensionally. By doing this we are able to clearly demonstrate a design to our clients and truly give them a feeling of what a building will be like even before it’s built. We strive to implement this philosophy via forward-thinking designs that incorporate sustainable, or “Green”, techniques wherever possible. Most of the time we will introduce our clients to a more sustainable way of building by simply specifying a maintenance-free product, while other times the project demands that he gets more involved technically, i.e. solar study models. We pledge to keep a “hands on” approach to all of our projects. Our mission is to provide a superior product coupled with unparalleled/personal customer service.

Logistically speaking, we will guide you through every step of the architectural process including but not limited to: architecture, interior design, civil engineering, MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing), structural engineering, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) analysis, geotechnical services, surveying, and BIM (Building Information Technology).

All of our projects are coordinated with our trusted and very capable consultants so that you, the owner, never have to worry. Over the years we have established invaluable rapports with our consultants including: mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineers, structural engineers, civil engineers, LEED APs, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors.  In addition to our colleagues, we always welcome the opportunity to work with other service professionals if the clients wish to bring in their own teams.  In addition to coordination from start to finish, we will also assist you in selecting a contractor that is right for the project. Our goal is to simply bring your dreams to fruition in the most enjoyable/painless way possible.
