Regal Residence in Proche Dreux, France

Dating back to the 17th century, this stately brick home was once occupied by King Henry IV of France and has since passed through a number of distinguished French families. This century, it was owned by Consuelo Vanderbilt, later Duchess of Marlborough, whose guests included Sir Winston Churchill.
