Marble Bathroom Ideas
Marble is sometimes a controversial material when you’re talking kitchen counters. It’s easy to stain and is not necessarily simple to care for and maintain. When we’re talking marble in the bathroom, however, it’s hard to find any marble haters out there.
It’s a gorgeous, classic choice for almost any style bathroom. And if your budget allows for it, it’s honestly hard to go wrong when using marble in your space. This stunning bath from designer Mark Williams is the stuff that dreams are made of.
There are, however, a number of ways to use this material in your bathroom, and we’ve rounded up 10 of our faves. If you’re looking to bring some marble into your bathroom, here are some ideas to steal.
Marble Bathroom With Gold Fixtures
When most people think of marble, white Carrara marble is what usually comes to mind. But designer Jennifer Duneier reminds us that there is actually a ton of variety when it comes to marble — including this chic, veined black marble. Much like granite, marble comes in many different colors and styles. So don’t feel limited to simply choosing white.
Bathroom With Marble Accent
Marble also works great as an accent in a bathroom. In this example, designer Brian Patrick Flynn created a super-stylish space with a marble step leading up to the freestanding bathtub.
White Marble Floating Vanity
You can easily use marble on your bathroom counter or, instead, create a floating marble vanity like this one from designer Breeze Giannasio. This is a great choice in a main bath where you want to create space for two sinks. It also allows you to use the space underneath for storage.
All-White Marble Bathroom
While marble works great as an accent in a bathroom, it can also look gorgeous if you use it on all surfaces of the bathroom. In this stylish bathroom from Design Development, wall-to-wall marble is used and the result is truly showstopping.
Bathroom With Marble Subway Tiles
If you’re hoping to update your bathroom with marble but have a limited budget, you might want to consider marble subway tiles. Designer Marianne Brown shows off this marble subway tile beautifully in this small bathroom. You could use the tile in a smaller spot such as a backsplash above the sink or in a larger space in the bathroom, as in this space.
Marble Bathtub in Spa-Like Bathroom
A beautiful marble tub like this one from designer Michael Habachy makes a stunning centerpiece for an elegant bathroom. Even if you simply have a tub/shower combo, you can use marble on the front of the tub surround to create a similar look.
White Bathroom With Herringbone Marble Floor
This herringbone marble floor from designer Claire Paquin really makes a statement in this sophisticated bathroom. You could create a floor like this one just in your shower in order to save some cash.
Marble Accent Wall in Modern Bathroom
Who needs art when you can use marble on your walls instead? Designer Claire Paquin created another dream bathroom here with this stunning marble accent wall. It also balances perfectly with the darker materials of the floor and shower in the space.
Frameless Glass And Marble Shower
It’s hard to go wrong with a light, bright marble shower. In this bathroom, Blackband Design chose a simple glass shower door and modern nickel fixtures to go along with the marble tiles. The combination works perfectly.
Soaking Tub With Gray Marble
Another great low-budget option for adding some marble in your bathroom is to use it for a simple tub surround. In this space, Marie Flanigan Interiors chose a beautiful gray marble to use around the tub to bring an extra layer of elegance and interest to the space.
