Powder Blue
Half bathrooms are the perfect place to play with tile, says Houston, Texas, designer Lila Malone (@lilamaloneinteriors). She went with Floor & Decor blue hexagon flowers for her client’s floor and wall, then painted the vanity Billowy Breeze by Sherwin-Williams to modernize the retro look.

Mint Green
Clients gave designers Mark and Mikal Eckstrom (@eckstromstudio) simple directions for this Omaha bathroom: They wanted a clawfoot tub, and they love green. Mark and Mikal went straight for a showstopping Gucci wallpaper, then ordered a custom-painted Victoria + Albert tub to match. Black-and-white floor tiles from Marble Systems are eye-catchers in their own right.

Deep Coral
Kara Miller (@karamillerinteriors) layered pattern, color and seashells in her client’s Jupiter, Florida, guest bathroom. “Going bold in a small space has big impact,” Kara says. The wallpaper is Thibaut, and the mirror is from Ballard Designs.

Bright Yellow
“We’re in Palm Springs so I wanted to capture the sunshine,” says designer Dani Dazey (@danidazey). She chose a happy paint shade (Lemon Slice by Dunn-Edwards), Fireclay Tile floors and a geometric shower curtain from Society6.

Cherry Red
The rest of this Edina, Minnesota, house has pops of crimson, so designer Jane-Marie Bloomberg (@embellishmentsdesignstudio) decided to saturate this bathroom with the color. She had paint matched to the Schumacher wallpaper and chose an oil enamel finish to give a sheen to both the walls and the ceiling. “A painted ceiling is so much more fun than a white one!” she says.

Light Mauve
Designers Doug Jones and John Kureck wanted this bathroom to be as cheerful as the rest of the house, a playful summer escape on Martha’s Vineyard. They extended the Heath Ceramics tiles from the shower to the rest of the room and paired them with lavender paint from Fine Paints of Europe.

Peachy Pink
Designer Susana Simonpietri (@changoandco) kept the tile and tub neutral in this Amenia, New York, children’s bathroom and went whimsical everywhere else. “We added color in the places that could be easily changed as the kids grow up,” she says. The walls are painted Rose Petal; the vanity is Coral Gables (both by Benjamin Moore).
