HGTV Dream Home 2024: Main Bathroom

It’s not hard to imagine sinking into this freestanding tub at the end of a long day. With the tub as the centerpiece of the main bathroom, symmetrical planning makes for an appealing bathroom design. Matching vanities in deep navy parallel each other from across the room. Skylights and a host of windows pour natural light into the space, which is painted pearly white to keep everything airy and bright. Hardware and fixtures in a champagne bronze finish add the just-right touch of metallic flair.

HGTV Dream Home 2014: Lake Tahoe, California

Modern meets traditional in the New Mountain architecture of HGTV Dream Home 2014. Functionality and safety were of upmost importance in the build. The home was constructed so that it could handle seismic activity with a roof designed to shed runoff and snowmelt, a 30-foot buffer zone to reduce forest fire risk and landscaping that would thrive in the mere five-month growing season. Yet, the home makes no sacrifices on beauty or style. The rustic exterior combination of wood, stone and stucco pulls inspiration and materials from the surrounding area in an awe-inspiring custom design.
