Materials Needed

  • Mason jar bands
  • moss ribbon
  • ribbon
  • paper embellishments (look for them in the scrapbooking section of your craft store)
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • scissors

Step 1: Cut Moss Strips

Cut a section of moss off the roll (about 10 inches), then cut it lengthwise into four strips.

Step 2: Wrap Moss Around Band

Using a hot glue gun, glue the edge of one moss strip to a Mason jar band. Let dry for about 30 seconds, then begin wrapping the strip around the band.

When you reach the end of one strip, glue it to the band and continue with a new strip. Keep going until you’ve covered the entire band.

Step 3: Add Finishing Touches

Cut a length of ribbon, about 12 inches. Glue the ends of the ribbon to the underside of the wreath to make a loop.
