- foam balls in various sizes
- yarn (desired colors/styles)
- tacky glue
- small paper clips
Add Hook for Hanging
Insert a small paper clip into the top of the foam ball.
Dab a small amount of glue onto the foam ball around the paper clip loop; place the end of the yarn in the loop's center, then wrap the yarn around the top of the foam ball in a circular motion (Image 1). Add more glue and continue wrapping the yarn around the foam ball, being sure to press the yarn firmly down into the glue (Image 2). Once foam ball is completely covered, cut yarn and glue end to the bottom of the ball (Image 3).
Hang on Tree
Loop twine through paper clip loop and tie in a bow to hang the completed ornament on the tree. Tip: These also make great gift toppers and wreath embellishments (Image 2).
