A TOTAL TRANSFORMATION
When Tarek and Christina opened the door of this 936-square-foot, 3 bedroom, 1 bath home, they were greeted by lots of unwelcome surprises, from mold and termites to faulty wiring and a leaky roof. See how they transformed the crumbling home into a modern showpiece perfect for a family.
EXTERIOR: BEFORE
With no grass, no driveway and crumbling siding, this home needed some serious exterior love.
EXTERIOR: AFTER
Tarek and Christina added all-new windows with custom frames and painted the home's exterior a warm gray shade.
EXTERIOR: AFTER
A new driveway and carport extend the home's usable space and offer a covered entrance into the living room.

Graphic orange and white pillows add a fun pop of color to a contemporary outdoor living room, as seen on HGTV"s Flip or Flop. The ranch home's shaded patio extends out to a huge backyard enclosed by a brick wall.

Christina and daughter Taylor plant flowers to prepare for the home's open house.
KITCHEN: BEFORE
Filthy and full of trash, the kitchen had to be completely gutted before the renovation could begin.
KITCHEN: AFTER
What a transformation! The monochromatic color palette makes this small kitchen appear more spacious, while the marble countertops, white subway tiles and stainless steel appliances pack style into every inch.
KITCHEN: AFTER
The eat-in dining space offers seating for four, and connects to the living room.
KITCHEN: AFTER
Orange velvet chairs add a touch of elegance and texture to a sleek and sunny breakfast nook, as seen on HGTV's Flip or Flop.
LIVING ROOM: BEFORE
Before the renovation, this room was filled with toxic mold. The home's drywall and insulation were completely removed before Tarek and Christina could revitalize this space.
LIVING ROOM: AFTER
The biggest splurge here? A pair of sliding glass doors that let light in and visually expand the living space. New drywall, neutral paint and hardwood floors complete the look.
LIVING ROOM: BEFORE
As seen on HGTV's Flip or Flop, the living room is piled high with boxes and trash before Tarek and Christina take over.
LIVING ROOM: AFTER
This neutral contemporary living room is unrecognizable after a stunning remodel from power couple Christina and Tarek El Moussa from HGTV's Flip or Flop. Sliding doors open up to a brand new patio and shed tons of natural light into the bright space.
BEDROOM: AFTER
After rebuilding the bedrooms from the ground up, they're a blank slate for the new buyer.
