A TOTAL TRANSFORMATION

When Tarek and Christina opened the door of this 936-square-foot, 3 bedroom, 1 bath home, they were greeted by lots of unwelcome surprises, from mold and termites to faulty wiring and a leaky roof. See how they transformed the crumbling home into a modern showpiece perfect for a family.

With no grass, no driveway and crumbling siding, this home needed some serious exterior love.

Tarek and Christina added all-new windows with custom frames and painted the home's exterior a warm gray shade.

Though this home's interior is on the small side, it boasts a spacious backyard. Tarek and Christina added fresh sod and flowering plants to make this space into a selling point.

Filthy and full of trash, the kitchen had to be completely gutted before the renovation could begin.

What a transformation! The monochromatic color palette makes this small kitchen appear more spacious, while the marble countertops, white subway tiles and stainless steel appliances pack style into every inch.

Before the renovation, this room was filled with toxic mold. The home's drywall and insulation were completely removed before Tarek and Christina could revitalize this space.

The biggest splurge here? A pair of sliding glass doors that let light in and visually expand the living space. New drywall, neutral paint and hardwood floors complete the look.
