Rustic and Refined
As seen on Beach Flip, contestants Sarah and Nick renovated the second floor master bedroom with a feature wood wall, a custom built sliding wood barn door, closet organizers and updated decor at the Gulf Dreams condo. See before and after photos, plus our favorite design details.
Master Bedroom, Before
Before the renovation, the walls were a tranquil shade of yellow, but the dated decor and fixtures needed a modern update.

Before the renovation, the wall housing the bedroom and bathroom doors lacked style and function.
Barn Door Upgrade
A sliding barn door featuring scrap pine wood in a herringbone pattern adds style to this bedroom's far wall.
Master Bedroom, Before
Gulf Dreams condo will be renovated on Beach Flip. Here, the master bedroom is a tranquil shade of yellow, but decor needs updating. The room, as seen on HGTV's Beach Flip, has a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. BEFORE #90 (interior, master bedroom) west wall, view of hallway.
Extra Storage
Beach Flip contestants Nick and Sarah added a tall hutch between the room's two closets.
Master Bedroom, Before
The room's one sliding glass door didn't take full advantage of the Gulf view just outside.
Natural Light, Doubled
A new floor-length window in this master bedroom allows guests to enjoy the Gulf View from the room's new king-sized bed.
Master Bedroom, Before
The room's most interesting focal point before the renovation? This strand of sea shells.
Rustic Feature Wall

Bedside Accessories
White accessories complement the white bed and crisp bedding. Storage baskets in the white nightstand add texture, style and function to this space.
Metallic Accents
Metallic accent pillows add modern style to this beach house master bedroom, while a starfish pillow nods to the home's coastal surroundings.
Modern and Rustic
This clear glass bedside lamp allows the rustic feature wall to take center stage.
