Traditional Neutral Living Room With Pink Stools

The homeowner's existing light linen sofa and gray, ivory and blue area rug were the jumping off points for this room's pale palette. To add punch and life, designers layered raspberry pink into the color scheme via two X-base stools and accent pillows.

White Open Plan Kitchen With Lake View

Originally, the kitchen was closed off from the dining room. To make both spaces feel more bright and take full advantage of beautiful lake views, designers joined the two rooms for easier flow and open sight lines.

Traditional Dining Room With Wood Chairs

The doorway in between the dining room and the kitchen was widened so that both rooms could soak up the sunlight and the views. As the dining room was also lacking in architectural sophistication, designers also added traditional moldings as well as a chandelier over the dining table.

Traditional Dining Room With Lake View

In the formal dining room, windows were left uncovered to keep views on constant display and let in maximum natural light, a valuable commodity in the Pacific Northwest where the home is located. The homeowner's Chippendale dining chairs get zippy new personality with seats freshly upholstered in a navy blue graphic pattern.
