French-Style California Residence is Totally Reimagined

While preserving the charm of the French-inspired exterior, Peruri Design Company fully reinvented the interiors of this home. Ceilings were raised, passageways widened, and a softer, more refined palette introduced to usher in light and enhance flow. The vision was to create an emotional experience — one that feels grounded yet elevated, layered yet effortless.

Gray and Green Home Office With Stained Glass Door

A small study off the living room is one of Peruri Design Company's most distinctive spaces. Shared by both homeowners as a work space, it was important that the room be able to be closed off without losing natural light. The designers partnered with Oakland-based glass artist Theodore Ellison to create a bespoke stained glass door that filters through sunlight and provides privacy. The sliding track is hidden in the floor, eliminating all visible hardware.
