Bright Dining Nook Features a Terrazzo Table

Prior to the renovation, the dining nook was dark and crowded with very little useable space. Designer Nicole Cohen brought her vision to life by replacing the dull flooring with a vibrant Moroccan tile and adding a trendy terrazzo table that's surrounded by wood chairs and a built-in bench. Large windows let in ample light, giving the space an entirely new feel.

A large arched doorway creates an architectural feature that connects the kitchen to a sitting area. The white walls and natural elements act as the perfect canvas for the denim sectional and large artwork that sits within the nook. Designer Nicole Cohen added a modern marble-accented coffee table to ensure the room had a touch of quirkiness.

Adjacent to the blue linen section, a built-in bar features a floating shelf and an oak cabinet. Various bottles are showcased on the floating shelf, giving the bar a lived-in, natural look; a theme that's present throughout the entire home. A modern light fixture hangs off the wall near the sofa, bringing a touch of modernity to the otherwise neutral space.

Unique Wood Mirror Accents a White Wall

Designer Nicole Cohen expertly added minimal decorative touches throughout that home that are design-focused, but also family-friendly. A unique wood mirror adds an eye-catching feature to the room's bright white walls. Mimicking the arches through the rest of the home, a white console table blends seamlessly into the space, housing Chinoiserie-style jars.
