If you casually pass by this renovated barn at Maple Hill Farm, you'd be awestruck by the live musical performances that await you inside. The cottage-style structure, stained in a dark walnut complementing the surrounding reclaimed wood railing and verdant terrain, is simple in design but beautiful nonetheless.

Designers at Kelly & Co. Design describe this renovated barn as "such a special space" for guests to relax and enjoy live performances. The design team was able to wire the barn for live music performances by re-framing the entire space with acoustic sound panels. For TV viewing, a large TV was hidden in the ceiling and can be lowered by remote control.

Grammy award-winning sound engineers were enlisted to acoustically soundproof this open-concept living room. All of the fabric panels are ingeniously hidden beneath the rustic reclaimed barn board, and the windows are double-paned and sealed, including the giant barn door entryway which has a glass "envelope" once you enter. All of these measures were taken to keep the place completely quiet. The light fixtures had the glass taken out so they wouldn't vibrate during music recording as well. Every detail was carefully thought out. You can't hear a sound outside when they are jamming inside!

Kelly and Co. Design created a contemporary-style bar in this renovated barn entertainment space without losing the ambiance of its rustic surroundings. A black granite countertop and zinc bar top sit atop wood cabinets and stainless steel fixtures. LED backlighting, which can be changed according to mood, showcases the bar selections. The bar features a keg tap, a wine fridge, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and ample storage for glassware and other serving pieces.

At loft level, this renovated rustic barn, now a live performance space, elevates reclaimed wood to its full potential. The vaulted ceiling, staircase railing and even the tables and chairs show a simple sumptuousness.

A loft above the bar offers a place for guests to rest after a long night of jam sessions. This amazing soundproof space designed by Kelly and Co. also includes a cozy seating area and a music corner, which made it perfect for the client, who loves to entertain.

Even the guests have a place to sleep in this amazing entertainment space designed by Kelly and Co. Folding beds are easily concealed when not in use in this airy loft.
