Warm, Soft Bedroom Style
Warm "greige" walls set the stage for an inviting mix of soft fabrics and colorful accessories. Contemporary furnishings blend beautifully with more traditional touches like the upholstered headboard and tufted bench at the foot of the bed.

Versatile Furnishings
Seating by the window offers the perfect place to read or just sit and relax after a long day. Neutral furnishings allow the homeowners to make quick and easy accessory updates based on their mood and the changing seasons.

Hardworking Bedroom Furniture
The gorgeous tufted bench at the foot of the bed not only offers an extra seat, it also brings in vibrant color to the otherwise neutral space. A large area rug adds warmth underfoot and gives the bedroom an overall cozier feel.

Boutique-Style Seating
The homeowners, who had been living with "matchy-matchy" furniture, wanted something a bit more stylish featured in their bedroom redesign. A posh seating area with coordinating (but not matching) furniture created the chic, updated look they were hoping for.

Stylish Bedroom Trimmings
An interesting mix of patterns looks surprisingly harmonious against the neutral bedding. The different patterns and shapes of the pillows create further interest in this stylish master suite.

Custom Night Stands
"The hidden gems in this design are the custom night stands that I had made by my carpenter,” says designer Lindsey Hayes. “The couple loved the dresser for this space and wanted a similar but different look for the night stands. So we kept the same shape, added appliqués to the drawer fronts, and painted the pair with black lacquer. After that, we popped on fancy mother of pearl knobs!”

A Job Well Done
"Everything in the space turned out like my original vision and original design boards that I presented to the couple," explains Lindsey. "The only differences in the end were the accessories I added to really push the look over the top." The gold mirror, floral pillows and elegant chandelier were the perfect finishing touches for the delicate space. "

All in the Accessories
The dazzling gold chandelier really adds to the boutique style the homeowners were going for. Stylish accessories take them out of the '90s and into the upscale bedroom of their dreams.

One Major Adjustment
To replace the red-tinted trim of the outdated bedroom before, Lindsey chose a light cream color to give the bedroom a softer feel. From there, the rest of the redesign was a piece of cake, resulting in the warm, stylish bedroom the homeowners had hoped for.
