Functional, Stylish Kitchen

One of the things these homeowners wanted for the design of their new home was a fun, functional place for their family to spend time bonding-particularly over food. So, in the kitchen, designers kept the concept simple, open and functional. Elegant materials and colors keep the space stylish, but minimal decoration helps maximize the useful space and minimize clutter. Designers made sure that the homeowners had tons of counter space for easy prep and serving, as well as plenty of cabinets for storage and a large sink, making for easy cleanup.

Bright, Funky Bar Space

Designers wanted to make sure the family had plenty of fun spaces to hang out together, so they added this fun, bright bar area. Textured wallpaper and rich wood combine with the natural light of the large windows to bring a funky, outdoor feel right into the interior space. To add even more eclectic color, designers hung bright wall plates and covered the barstools with bold fabrics to ensure that the family could enjoy this colorful space in style and comfort.

Throughout the home's space, designer pulled in bold colors to create the fun, eclectic space that the homeowners desired. The master bathroom is no exception, but to create a more soothing space, designers scaled back the multiple colors from the rest of the home and complemented the bold, blue painting that hangs above the soaking tub with rich wood and tile textures, creating a space that is as vibrant as the couple, but that gives them a private space to relax.

The homeowners wanted an outdoor space they could use for entertaining throughout the day, so designers proposed situating the space on a covered patio to provide protection from the daytime sunlight.
