Bio
Jessica is the executive editor of HGTV Magazine. She has been a content creator for more than 15 years, and has held positions at Food Network Magazine, Country Living and This Old House. She also teaches media to grad students at New York University and spends her weekends fixing up a 1940s log cabin with her husband.
Experience
Jessica has previous experience as the Deputy Editor of Food Network Magazine, The Pioneer Woman Magazine, and ThePioneerWoman.com at Hearst Magazines, where she managed the features department, which included five print editors, five digital editors, and several freelancers; she edited, assigned, and/or wrote all print features and front-of-book stories, covering food, drink, wellness, health, travel, entertaining, home design, and DIY. Jessica has experience using SEO and keyword research to develop and edit content for ThePioneerWoman.com; producing photo shoots; and working with marketing and advertising teams on native and custom content to be used across multiple platforms. She has also held editorial positions at HGTV Magazine and Country Living during her tenure at Hearst, as well as having worked at Time Inc.’s This Old House.
Education
Jessica earned her degree from Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Communications.
