Create a Cozy Outdoor Living Space

Whether you're curling up with a book or chatting with neighbors, your front porch can be a valuable extension of your living space, so do it up right.

Add a Rug

An outdoor area rug grounds the space and lets everyone know this is a spot you can kick off your shoes and recharge.

Comfortable Seating

Make sure there's a spot for at least two people to sit comfortably. Update older seating with a fresh set of cushions and keep the color somewhat neutral so you can change up the look seasonally.

Accent Table

Include at least one accent table so there's a convenient spot to place a drink. Just make sure it's not taller than the arms of your seating.

Don't be afraid to use some indoor accessories, especially if your porch is covered. Pillows, throws and sculptural decor give the space a welcoming vibe.
