Mini Pumpkin Felt Masks and Wings
In the October 2014 issue of HGTV Magazine, the crafty editors showed you six fun ways to decorate a mini pumpkin, but they've also released two bonus ideas exclusively for online readers! You’ll find details on how to finish each look below.
NOTE: Each design comes in three sizes. All are made for mini pumpkins, but even those can vary in size. Use what works best for yours.
Cat Mask
Download the cat mask template below. Print it, and cut it out. Trace it onto black felt, then cut out the mask shape and eyes. Glue a piece of black twine to each end of the mask and tie it around the pumpkin. Bat Wings
Download the template for the wings below. Print it, and cut it out. Trace the template onto two pieces of stiff black felt, then cut out the wing shapes. Tape a toothpick to the back of each wing, leaving the end of the pick exposed. Stick the toothpicks into opposite sides of the pumpkin.
