Throw a Fall Feast for Your Friends

Invite all of your friends to your feast with invites made from kraft paper and dried flowers. Tie jute string around the envelope, and hand deliver the invitations to each of your friends to make them feel extra special.

Set the scene for your feast by placing a fall wreath at the entrance. We chose a colorful, dried flower wreath, and hung it from the front gate to welcome everyone as they arrived.

Buy inexpensive blanket scarves, and roll them up in a basket. Each of your friends can grab one on the way in and stay cozy and warm throughout the night. Let guests take the scarves home as a party favor.

Use (faux) sheepskin blankets and pillows to help set a cozy scene. Place them on chairs, benches, or even on the ground to create additional seating areas.

Prosciutto-wrapped breadsticks are one of the easiest appetizers you can prepare. Simply wrap thin slices of prosciutto around the ends of each breadstick, and stack them on a pretty plate.

For an easy, kid-friendly appetizer, add healthy snacks to an ice cube tray. We chose a rubber ice tray in a fall-themed color, and let each kid choose their own yummy snacks.

A big, bountiful cheese board is a must-have. Mix a variety of cheeses with meats, nuts, olives and fruit for a grand presentation.

For a simple decor idea, string a bunch of warm, flannel shirts with clothespins. Hang them around the party in different spots as a colorful, cozy decor idea. If you don't have a ton of flannels, buy some from your local thrift store.

For your signature cocktail, make a sweet, sparkling apple sangria. Add fresh cranberries, oranges and apple slices to add fall flavor. Try our sparkling sangria recipe.

If you want to skip a signature cocktail, prepare frozen fruit skewers instead. Choose blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, and freeze them before your party. Guests can add the skewers to their cocktails or glasses of wine.

In order to save space on your table, serve your fall feast meal family style. Serve a meat plate with ribs, kabobs, and pulled chicken, along with potatoes and vegetables.

Create a stunning centerpiece with greenery and fall flowers. Skip the vases, and simply lay out them out for a more natural focal point.

Create your own soft pretzel bar. Pair the pretzels with different kinds of mustard, as well as a bowl of crunchy sea salt.

Wrap mini pies up with flannel ribbon. Encourage guests to grab pies to go at the end of the party. If you don't want to bake all the pies on your own, purchase pre-made pies, and ditch the packaging before serving.
