#1: Bacon Bouquet
Are flowers not your S.O.'s thing? Skip the traditional floral bouquet this Valentine's Day and give this arrangement of bacon roses stuffed with goat cheese and dates. What you'll need: a pack of bacon (about 12 slices), dates, crumbled goat cheese, toothpicks, a bouquet of artificial roses, kraft paper, tape and ribbon.

Step 1: Slice Dates
Start by slicing the dates in half to remove the pits, then slicing them into quarters. You'll need one slice for each piece of bacon.

Step 2: Assemble Bacon Roses
Add one slice of date and a few crumbles of goat cheese to the end of a piece of bacon. Roll the bacon into a rose-like shape and secure with a toothpick. Repeat this process for the entire pack of bacon.

Step 3: Cook Bacon
Place the bacon roses on a baking sheet. Cook at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, turning halfway through.

Step 4: Remove Toothpicks
When the bacon roses look brown and crispy, remove them from the oven. Wait until they're cool enough to handle, then remove the toothpicks.

Step 5: Assemble Bouquet
While the bacon is cooking, remove the flowers from your artificial bouquet. Pop the bacon roses on the stems in their place.

Step 6: Wrap Bouquet
Cut a piece of kraft paper into a square and place your bacon bouquet on top. Fold the bottom corner up to cover the end of the stems. Fold the right corner over the flowers, then the left. Secure with a piece of tape. Tip: Add some additional faux greenery to give your bouquet an extra-full look. We used faux eucalyptus.

Step 7: Add Finishing Touch
Tie a ribbon around the bouquet to complete the look.

Step 8: Serve It
Pair your bacon bouquet with eggs, toast and coffee for a breakfast-in-bed theme, or give it to your boo as a snack he or she can enjoy any time.

#2: Cupcake Bouquet
Make someone's day with a beautiful arrangement of cupcake roses in a terra-cotta pot. It's easier to make than you might think! What you'll need: 16-18 cupcakes, a terra-cotta pot, a foam ball, toothpicks, frosting, piping bags, closed-star piping tips, assorted greenery and extra cupcake liners (optional).

Step 1: Attach Cupcakes to Foam Ball
When shopping for your supplies, look for a foam ball that fits at least halfway into your terra-cotta pot; we used a 7" ball and a pot that's 8" in diameter at the top. Place the ball inside the pot, then use two toothpicks to attach a cupcake to the top of the ball. Continue attaching cupcakes until you've covered the entire ball. Tip: To avoid disturbing the frosting, it's best to do this step with unfrosted cupcakes and decorate them when the arrangement is fully assembled.

Step 2: Secure Bottom Row of Cupcakes
For the bottom row of cupcakes, use three toothpicks instead of two for extra stability. For a little extra color and to fill in the gaps between cupcakes, wrap them in an extra green liner, like we did here.

Step 3: Fill in Gaps
Once the entire ball is covered in cupcakes, you'll likely have a few empty spaces in between. We used fresh greenery to fill in the gaps, but you can also use extra cupcake liners or tissue paper secured with toothpicks.

Step 4: Decorate Cupcakes
Now for the fun part: decorating the cupcakes! Using a piping bag and a closed star-shaped piping tip (we used a Wilton 2D), you can easily create gorgeous rose designs. Starting in the middle of the cupcake, apply pressure to the piping bag to release the frosting. Then, swirl the frosting around the center point, covering the entire cupcake until you've reached the edge. Release pressure and lift up the tip to let the swirl trail off. Step 5: Gift It
Give this bouquet to your sweetie with a sweet tooth on Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or any day! For gardening enthusiasts, the terra-cotta pot is a bonus gift that can be used for future planting projects.

#3: Cheese Board Bouquet
For the cheese lover in your life, turn their favorite cheese board ingredients into a brie-utiful (get it?) arrangement. What you'll need: two or three types of cheese, fresh or dried fruits and veggies (such as olives, grapes and apricots), crusty bread (such as baguette), assorted crackers, rosemary, wooden skewers, a vase and parchment paper.

Step 1: Skewer Cheese
Start with two or three types of cheese cut into bite-size, triangular pieces; we used brie, cheddar and baby Swiss. Avoid crumbly cheeses (such as asiago and gorgonzola) as these will break apart on the skewers. Add about four pieces of cheese to each skewer; we made six skewers total.

Step 2: Skewer Fruits and Veggies
Next, make a few skewers of fresh and dried fruits and veggies. We used garlic-stuffed green olives, grapes and dried apricots, but apples, pears, dried figs or mini pickles would be great options as well. We made six fruit and veggie skewers total.

Step 3: Skewer Bread
Finally, make five or six skewers of sliced bread.

Step 4: Start Arranging
Grab a pretty vase and start arranging your ingredients! We started with a row of bread skewers to add height at the back. Tip: Add some filler to the vase to help keep the skewers in place; we used crumpled up pieces of parchment paper.

Step 5: Layer More Ingredients
Next, layer in your cheese, fruit and veggie skewers in front of the bread.

Step 6: Add Parchment Paper
Once your arrangement is looking pretty full, tuck a few pieces of parchment paper around the back and sides of the vase to add height and hold everything in place.

Step 7: Serve It
Finish off your masterpiece with some crackers, crunchy breadsticks and a few sprigs of rosemary. Serve this arrangement at a Galentine's Day get-together and prepare to be the hit of the party. Or, share it with your sweetie (along with a bottle of wine) as an appetizer before a night out.
