12 Ways to Bring Order to Your Small Space
Clear the clutter and get organized with our top storage ideas for small spaces.

If space is at a premium in your home, you're probably always searching for creative storage solutions. Small spaces aren’t usually known for their generous closets or expansive pantry spaces. My little home is only 750 square feet, so I’m definitely a card-carrying member of the Small Space Club. I've rounded up 12 of my favorite picks to help you tackle just about every storage challenge in your home — with style.
Leaning Mirror
This full-length mirror leans against the wall, so you don’t need to worry about mounting it. It sports a clean, minimalist iron frame finished in black with a wood backing. If you do want it off the floor and on your wall, though, it can mount in minutes (hardware included!).
Shoe Storage Ottoman
If your shoe collection is spilling out of your closet, we've got a stylish solution. You can use this shoe storage ottoman as extra seating in your living room or at the end of your bed, and guests will never know that you're conveniently storing six pairs of shoes inside.
Shoe Rack
When you only have a tiny amount of space in your entryway, this three-tier rack may be the perfect solution. It offers two shelves to store shoes, and you could keep a basket or two on top to store winter gear, mail and more.
Corner Hanging Bar
This corner bar is a lifesaver for tiny spaces. Use it in an unused corner of your room for extra hanging space, or add it inside a simple reach-in closet to give yourself more room to hang clothes. It would even be great in a laundry room to hang clothes that need to be air-dried.
Wall-Mounted Towel Rack
The stylish and slim profile of this towel rack means it will fit in several different spaces around your home. Did you think about taking it outside the bathroom? Use it in your living room to hold extra blankets or in your entryway to store coats, sweatshirts and scarves.
Kitchen Storage Tower
For anyone who loves to cook, there are few things more challenging in a tiny house than a small kitchen. Luckily, this metal storage tower can help double your space in a petite kitchen. It has four smooth-rolling wheels that make it easy to move from room to room over tile, carpet and concrete and to clean underneath. You can use it to maximize your counter space in small kitchens by having it hold small appliances, canisters or pots, and pans.
Glass Shadow Boxes
These glass shadow boxes would work nicely as storage for jewelry, remote controls or bathroom essentials, like cotton swabs or makeup brushes.
Office Wall Organizer
This all-in-one, wall-mounted organizer would be an amazing addition to any tiny office. One side features a chalkboard for reminders and positive notes, and the opposite side has pockets in the wooden shutter design, perfect for holding mail, permission slips and other paperwork.
Beauty Mirror + Shelf
When you're short on space in a small bathroom, a shelf combo like this is a great solution. Mounted to the wall, this wall mirror and shelf provide a convenient spot for storing hair-styling tools, beauty essentials and trinkets.
Kitchen Shelf
Here’s a sturdy wood shelf that would be a great option when you need extra space in the kitchen. With three shelves, you can easily store cookbooks, dinnerware, mugs and more.
Circular Wall Shelf
This round shelf is versatile enough to use in several different spots around your home. It would be great in a bathroom to store rolled towels and toiletries, or you could take it into your entryway and use it as a key drop.
Hanging Jewelry Organizer
This organizer is a great choice for anyone with an ample necklace or earring collection. The hooks and rod allow you to keep all of your baubles super organized and on display.
