Decorator's White
You may think that white paint is white paint, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Selecting the wrong white for a kitchen could spoil the overall look, leading to yellow-hued, dingy walls. Because of its gray, blue and purple undertones, Decorator's White by Benjamin Moore is the ideal choice for modern kitchens, like that one that features blue and white cabinets, marble countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Quiet Rain
The kitchen from The HGTV Dream Home 2016 sports a baby blue hue, Quiet Rain by Glidden, on the walls and ceiling. Though light blue is often associated with coastal designs, this hue, when combined with the other design choices, is not beachy at all. The kitchen is a study in elegant dark and light tones accented with shiny metal, adding an elegant touch.

Metropolitan
We'll admit that we're suckers for a vignette like this. With a whimsical olive tree, a few well-worn breadboards against the wall and stunning blue cabinetry with polished brass pulls, it really doesn't get better than this. While it's easy to get wrapped up in the details, the real star of the show here is the wall color. Named Benjamin Moore's Color of the Year 2019, Metropolitan is calm, sophisticated and downright beautiful.
Peppery
Blues and greens have become staple colors in modern kitchens; warmer colors are often skipped over. While some see warm colors as dated or dull, all we see is an easy way to set your space apart. Try the color seen here, Peppery from HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams, to give your space a bold pop. Alongside the dark grays and tans in this eclectic kitchen, Peppery adds a vibrancy that anchors itself in the room's colorful decor, and looks anything but dull.

Mix Up Your Whites
Designer Harmony Weihs' secret to elevating the traditional white kitchen is simple: add some wood for warmth, add a little color where it counts and, most importantly, mix up your whites. Here, Pure White cabinets pop due to walls finished in Fleur De Sel by Sherwin-Williams. While it appears white, Fleur De Sel has a grayer hue than Pure White, which results in a slight, complementary contrast.
