The property includes a large field where deer and elk like to graze, so in order to protect that space, the family opted to set up the house on the far side of the land. Views of mountains and tall trees are still available on all sides.

Timber beams and framing add to the home's rustic mood. In this second floor hallway, glass doors trimmed in black help handsomely frame out the home's sweeping view.

The kitchen and dining area are seamlessly blended and feel wonderfully large thanks to the soaring ceiling and big windows. Oversized woven pendants are a lovely bit of texture in the center of the space, a delicate touch to balance out the room's strong lines and contrasts.

The front of the house was designed to be simple and minimal, blending in with the tree line. The back of the house is expansive, with floor-to-ceiling windows showing off breathtaking mountain panoramas.
