Gather Your Supplies
For the lamps: clear glass vessels / black lace / Mod Podge / foam brush / scissors / candles / newspaper. For the tablescape: succulents / fake spider webs / assorted plastic spiders.
Measure the Lace
Lay out your newspaper. Wrap the lace around the glass vessel to determine the amount you will need. Allow a couple of extra inches for overlap and trim off the excess.
Adhere the Lace
Use a foam brush and Mod Podge to adhere the lace to the glass. Wrap and trim the lace as necessary as you work. Once complete, set aside to dry completely.
Mix It Up
For a different look, cut the lace into strips and adhere those to the glass. You may cover the entire glass or only a portion of it: the design is up to you!
Set the Mood
Add candles to your lamps and arrange potted succulents around the lamps. Next, add the fake spider webs and spiders. I used flameless candles since I can leave those unattended, making them perfect for a Halloween party.
Finishing Touches
Don't overlook the tabletop: add some spider webs and spiders to the table too.
Light Up the Night
This tablescape transitions into the night, casting eerie shadows of lace and spiny succulents on surrounding areas.
