"Growing up, JD was an amazing big brother who showed us the ropes, so it was special for us to do this reno for him," the brothers told HGTV Magazine.

The Story
Over the past 10 years, JD Scott’s Las Vegas home has gotten its fair share of jokey comments from his younger brothers, HGTV stars Jonathan and Drew Scott. “They made fun of various home projects that took me a while to finish, but I wasn’t using a full crew like some people I know,” says JD, who’s a TV personality himself. After his fiancée, Annalee Belle, moved in during the summer of 2015, it made sense to give the home an update, except the couple was never able to fit it into their schedules. “It was going to be a big commitment, and we both travel a lot for work,” says Annalee, a makeup artist and model.
Home-Pro Siblings for the Win!
Drew and Jonathan had to contend with very different style preferences: “We call JD’s taste manimalistic because he’s into darker tones, whereas Annalee refers to her aesthetic as ‘rainbow bubble gum,’ ” says Drew. Of course, Jonathan and Drew managed to give the couple a perfectly blended design. They filmed the transformation for their show Property Brothers: Forever Home. “We couldn’t be happier,” says JD. “And I’m not just saying that because they’re family!”
Kitchen
Black cabinets, a stainless steel tile backsplash from The Builder Depot and gray quartz countertops gave the formerly dated kitchen sleek, long-lasting style. The floor is wood-look-alike porcelain tile, which runs throughout the whole house.
Living Room
The front door opens to the living room, so to make a big impact, Jonathan and Drew did a wall of faux brick painted Tricorn Black by Sherwin-Williams. Jewel tones in the furniture and the rug from eCarpetGallery satisfied Annalee’s love of color.

Dining Room
Pre-reno, JD and Annalee’s dining area was all substance (tons of cabinets) but not much style. Their new space has hits of glam from the brushed-gold-based table by Tov Furniture, velvet chairs by Scott Living and a light fixture with metallic accents by Kichler. “I love how the art contrasts with the dark walls,” says Annalee. “This is the first time I’ve seen JD like something that’s floral!” It’s by Wendover Art Group. Here, JD and Analee breakfast in their totally revamped dining area.

Bedroom
They painted the bedroom walls deep teal (Dark Night by Sherwin-Williams) and framed wallpaper like art. The purple headboard (from Wayfair) looks rich next to it. JD and Drew found the zebra sculpture at an antiques store.

Bathroom
JD had always wanted a second bathroom, so Jonathan and Drew converted unused space into one. They knocked it out of the park with cool tile — glossy dark blue in the shower and pebble mosaic on the floor (both by Walker Zanger).
Landscaping: Before
“Finally landscaping the front yard was important for our neighbors’ sake,” says JD, laughing.
Landscaping: After
The home’s curb appeal boosts include new turf, a white picket fence, a new green front door and a fresh paint job on the exterior — Bay Water by Behr on the house and Isle of Pines by Sherwin-Williams on the garage door.
Raise the Roof
The living room ceiling went from 8 feet to almost 10 feet high! "I had reservations about my younger bros calling the shots," says JD, "but they proved they are masters.”
