Painting How-To

Paint the door panels a light color; let dry. Using a ruler, find the center of each panel. Mark that point with a pencil, then draw a vertical line and horizontal line through the point. Using 1-inch painter’s tape, place a 1-inch diamond square in the center. Then, using your pencil lines as a guide, tape off additional diamond squares so they’re equidistant from one another. Repeat for each panel. Paint the panels and the rest of the door a dark color. Peel off the tape while the paint is still slightly wet.
