Materials Needed:

  • wreath form (available at craft supply and dollar stores)
  • orange chevron fabric cut into a strip 3" wide
  • black chevron fabric cut into a strip 2" wide, or black ribbon
  • black card stock
  • baker's twine
  • black glitter
  • Mod Podge

Wrap the Wreath

To start, wrap the orange fabric over the wreath form, slightly overlapping on the edges. Use your hot glue gun to attach the baker's twine onto the wreath, crisscrossing three times.

Make Bats

Cut out bats using a silhouette, specialty punch or with a craft knife and template from your black card stock. (Search online for "bat template.")

Add Glitter and Attach Bats

Apply Mod Podge to the bats, then generously pour on black glitter. Shake off excess. Dab a dot of hot glue to the back of each bat and connect it to the baker’s twine on the wreath.
