Kids will love making these fun and easy edible valentines for their friends using licorice laces and gummy ring candy.
DIY Candy Necklace Valentines 01:53
Marianne and Lulu make candy necklace valentines for Lulu's classmates.
- strawberry licorice laces
- gummy ring candy (any flavor)
- cellophane treat bags
String gummy rings on a licorice lace. Each necklace should have 7 to 8 gummy rings.
Download and print cards (Image 1). Cut a half-inch slit on each side of a card. Thread the finished necklace through the slits, leaving the excess licorice on the back of the card (Image 2). Tie excess licorice into a loose bow (Image 3).
Carefully put the finished cards (one at a time) into a cellophane treat bag (Image 1). Fold over the top and seal with a piece of washi tape. Add a sticker for extra embellishment (Image 2).
Now, the candy necklace valentines are ready to be given away to your child's dearest friends.
