I am a huge fan of this cozy rooftop deck tucked into the roofline of the home. It brings back happy memories of summers I spent at Long Beach Island in New Jersey as a kid where my cool aunts would sunbathe with a cocktail in hand and there was nice protection from the wind to make hours basking in the sun even more comfortable. I don't see this style of deck down South and really love it.
Karen Webb, Associate Producer
The cozy rooftop deck is the true a game changer for me, the views from up there are unparalleled and really let you take in all the dreaminess of this home.

Roof-top deck is the ultimate place to party. Spectacular views of the horizon, and a bar just steps away inside.
Paul Cox, Manager of Editorial Operations
It's so cool that HGTV Dream Home 2021 includes an RV. I just went on a family RV trip to the Florida Keys in an rental RV very similar to the one being offered with this home. We had a great time traveling to new places and staying safely together. Having an RV would mean more adventures like that; there's a real sense of freedom behind the wheel.
I think this RV is the perfect size for a couple or small family. I was able to quickly hook up our RV of a similar size at each campsite and unhook with ease so we could drive it around town during our daily outings.

I love that there's a motor home this year! What a cool addition to the prize package.

I can barely get beyond the great room, with living room and dining room together in one big, open, well-lit space. I love the high ceilings with tall windows looking out to the water, but I especially love that wall color — a rosy red that’s warm and classic but also feels fresh and modern. Paired with teal blue and creamy white, I think it’s the perfect update for an Americana color palette. Also, two-story curtains, now that’s a dream!

I like the red/Burgundy it reminds me of a beautiful sunset. “Red sky at night sailors delight, red sky in the morning sailors take warning."
Ellie Sanders, Assistant Editor
After almost a year of working from home, there’s nothing I appreciate more than a beautiful home office, and this space seems to have it all. For starters, a desk with a view is an absolute must for me now.
In addition to this, the moody wall color and giant houseplants create a room that feels cozy, but vibrant – the exact mood I want when hunkering down for a day in the home office. And if this room needed another selling point, it doubles as a library. What more could you want?

Awesome tie in with the remote factor in mind. I’ve been in several zoom meetings with unmade beds in the background. The backdrop bookshelf is a great idea.

I don’t know if it’s because my husband and I cooked almost every meal at home in 2020 or what, but I would do anything for the ultra-spacious HGTV Dream Home 2021 kitchen. The natural light, the huge island with seating, and the rows and rows of cabinets and storage!
I would spend most of my days in there – cooking, working, reading. The amount of countertop prep space means we could actually be in the kitchen at the same time without bumping into each other or blocking the drawer the other person needs to get into. What a dream. I’m adding this stunner to my vision board.
Felicia Feaster, Managing Editor
I am genuinely obsessed with the trio of woven light fixtures in this kitchen. They beautifully complement the navy cabinets. I know white kitchens are perennially popular but I am enjoying this trend of colorful cabinets and when I some day redo my kitchen I am considering a rich navy like this.
The combination of lots of windows and white shiplap walls works so well to inject brightness into the room while the navy cabinets, wood countertops and wood floors bring warmth to the space. I would gladly swap out my current kitchen for this stunning one, so I guess this is my dream home too.

I love that Brian chose a dark stain for the butcher block counter tops. They look lovely against the navy-blue cabinets and remind me of an old ship. I don’t think my family and I would ever leave this space.
Laura James, Editor
You truly can’t go wrong with a blue and white kitchen, especially in a coastal New England home. I love the navy cabinets and vertical shiplap. The vertical direction helps modernize the popular shiplap wall finish, while still nodding to coastal cottage style. And those huge windows overlooking the water? If you have to do the dishes, it might as well be with a breathtaking view like that.

This cool blue bonus room is exactly where I want to spend a relaxing afternoon. The cozy modular sectional makes for a perfect place for a nap or diving into some board games with friends.
Jackie McGilvray, Editor
I really like the whaling wall on that pretty Caribbean-blue background. I love how Brian Patrick Flynn always adds a little whimsy to all the giveaway homes he designs. I’m a firm believer that good design shouldn’t always be so serious, there’s nothing wrong with adding a giggle-inducing element to your décor.

The rattan chairs may be the best reading spots in the entire home. And I could spend an hour enjoying some friendly competition with the modern shuffleboard table.

Love the aqua bedroom - I love the color and the serenity of it, yet playful and cheery.
Ellie Sanders, Assistant Editor
One word: Closets. Call me crazy, but the closets in this home are seriously dreamy. The patterned bins, basket hamper, understated clothing rack and stout shelf? It just does it for me. Somehow the hangers are even beautiful.
I can’t get over the dresser-in-the-closet moment. It takes organization to a whole new, aesthetically pleasing level. Add in the finishing touch of matching the closet wall color to the bedroom wall color, and this tiny spot steals the show for me.
Ellie Sanders, Assistant Editor
This bathroom stopped me in my tracks … or, my scroll. I mean, who wouldn’t want to get ready for the day in this space? The wall color is vibrant, calming and entirely unexpected. Combine that with the marble tile that extends into the shower, and you’ve got a fresh looking space that has climbed its way to the very top of my bathroom mood board.

Love it! I have a large (30x30) garage that had an attic for storage of seasonal stuff and loft for large storage containers for stuff I use more often. It has air/heat and is well insulated, including the doors. But my garage was built for entertaining. It has a huge carport that I parked our vehicles under but can move out of way if needed for parties and such. I have always used my garages for an entertainment room.
Michele Purcell, Executive Producer
I love what is happening in the garage. From the vibrant paint-by-numbers mural on the wall to tables, chairs and comfy seating that allow you to transform this into a gathering or workspace, the garage is more than just a spot to park.
Karen Webb, Associate Producer
I’m obsessed with the outdoor spaces at HGTV Dream Home 2021. From the ultimate outdoor kitchen, to the cozy firepit and all the unique sitting areas, you could spend the whole day outside without ever having a need to go inside.
Maureen Carson-Rustrian from Facebook
The outdoor decks and paver patio make this house beautiful! It takes full advantage of the view and invokes a peaceful and inviting setting.
Keri Sanders, Editor
I don’t think I would ever leave this backyard. And with an outdoor kitchen, so many different types of comfy seating and a to-die-for view, why would I? I can’t imagine a cozier hangout spot than sitting with friends and family around that fire pit, and that pergola?! Just bring me a pitcher of iced tea and leave me be.
Alecia Broussard from Facebook
I love that backyard! Perfect for family time.
Stacy Fayling from Facebook
Everything about this house is my favorite. The location, the view, the extra attention to detail, it’s unique style, and the serenity of it all makes it feel like home. I could see our family enjoying every space this home offers without changing a thing.
