Subdued fabrics, chosen to complement the room’s gray limestone walls, keep all eyes focused on backyard spaces.

Kitchen

A soothing palette of blue, cream and gray punctuates the cooking space, recognized by NKBA for its efficient, safe and accessible design. Cooking and dining rooms are combined in this year’s home to make the most efficient use of space.

Dining Room

A casual-chic niche that borrows its palette from the great room and kitchen, the dining room boasts picturesque views of the backyard and space conducive to dinner parties and intimate family gatherings.

Guest Bedroom One

Dubbed "the serenity room," the first-floor bedroom provides a quiet retreat for overnight guests. Walls clad in a robin’s-egg blue reinforce a design scheme inspired by the home’s location.

Guest Bathroom One

Located next to the first-floor guest bedroom, the guest suite bathroom provides a spa-style retreat for guests. “It has a calm, soothing personality and feels a million miles away,” says interior designer Linda Woodrum.

Changing Room

A departure from the strikingly feminine features of the guest suite, the changing room offers up a clean, crisp and tailored style. The space connects indoors to out and provides a cozy nook for reading, reflection, fly tying or preparation for outdoor activities.

Earth tones and natural textures form a solid foundation in the guest bathroom, just steps from outdoor spaces. The pairings of stone with chrome and natural quartz with bronze elevate the room’s design.

Mudroom

Accessible from the garage and most likely the first space one encounters, the mudroom handles heavy foot traffic without sacrificing style. Travertine tile floors and industrial-style light fixtures define this hardworking yet handsome space, where gloves, caps, coats and winter gear find a home.

Family Room

Victorian-era saloon interiors inspired both the family room’s rich, vibrant color palette and design aesthetic. Velvety fabrics and casual-chic furnishings set the stage for festive gatherings, movie nights and board game competitions.

Laundry Room

One of the first spaces one sees upon entering HGTV Dream Home via the garage, the laundry room earns points for both its stylish design approach and smart use of storage space. Stone tile floors, contemporary cabinetry and industrial-style light fixtures are among the space’s standout features.

Master Sitting Room

The master suite’s private living space, the sitting room establishes the second floor’s warm and inviting color palette with a golden wall color that blurs the line between mustard and moss.

Master Bedroom

The story of the master bedroom begins with the smoky topaz wall color, a rich pumpkin shade that, layered with luxe fabrics in hues of gold, rust, lime and mocha, celebrates the beauty of Utah’s Heber Valley.

A glamorous space defined by floor-to-ceiling mosaic glass tile and spa-style bath fixtures, the master bathroom offers a calming oasis and breathtaking views of the surrounding prairie land and mountain ranges.

The outdoor living room borrows its palette from the adjoining great room and offers a front-row seat to the changing seasons. A grilling station, flat-screen TV and gas fireplace are among the main attractions of this entertaining and relaxation space, which successfully blurs the line between indoors and out.

Entertainment Deck

An extension of the outdoor living room, the boardwalk-style deck leads to a gathering area where conversation around a campfire takes on a modern twist. Four gas units, encased in glass and Utah limestone, form the focal point for this contemporary outdoor room.

Hot Tub Deck

An extension of interior designer Linda Woodrum’s fun, Old West-inspired family room, the hot tub deck shares its neighboring room’s color palette and casual sense of play. The deck serves as the ideal escape from interior hustle and bustle.

Garage Interior

Home to both high-efficiency tankless water heaters and the whole-house audio system, a two-vehicle garage boasts stained cement floors, locker-style storage and thoughtful design elements in keeping with HGTV Dream Home’s overall aesthetic.

Garage Exterior

A garage, integrated in the home’s design, resembles an addition to an original farmhouse structure. The exterior borrows the home’s roofing system, fiber-cement siding and dark sky-friendly lighting.
