"We were in Old Town Albuquerque and walked in Blackbird Gallery, and it was like, 'Oh my gosh, that is so amazing.' And we bought it on the spot," recalls interior designer Linda Woodrum.

A pine trestle table replaces a desk in the home office, where an Italian-style leather swivel chair, an industrial-chic floor lamp and black-and-white framed photos offer up an urban aesthetic.

Tabletop appointments include fresh greenery placed in a clear glass vase and stacked red treasure boxes – ideal for storage of stationary and writing supplies.

Hand-woven lampakanay rope arm chairs lend an unexpected organic twist in the home office.

A casual seating area for business clients takes comfort into consideration. Rope chairs with upholstered seats huddle around an Asian-inspired floor cube topped with a low bonsai.

As stylish as they are smart, rattan storage baskets echo the texture of Asian-inspired office chairs.

A wall of industrial-style étagères provide for both art display and storage. Reclaimed teak-wood sculptures placed atop lacquered display pedestals connect the room to outdoor spaces.

A tray of wine glasses sits at the ready should business meetings give way to celebrations.

A dedicated door leads from the home office to the motor court. A custom blind diffuses midday sunlight in the space.

A bathroom adjacent to the home office is punctuated by a mocha-brown color palette. A Silestone-tiled shower stall pairs with a Silestone-topped rustic maple Wellborn vanity.
