Season 2, Episode 13

After the Flood and Fire

Homeowners Tara and Jimmy thought Hurricane Sandy was the scariest night of their lives. That was until the night an electrical fire started in their home, after they hired a contractor to rewire the house and fix other damage caused by Superstorm Sandy. Enter licensed contractor John DeSilvia, who takes matters into his own hands and investigates the damages done by the previous contractor. He finds that the contractor didn't replace any of the electrical in the house and did not properly repair the roof. John and his team decide to do better than just fix the shoddy work the old contractor left behind; they go all out and build Tara and Jimmy a brand new addition, including a new kitchen.
