Season 2, Episode 1

Shattered Pipe Dreams

When a simple washer and dryer installation goes horribly wrong, Dawn and Glenn, are left with pipes that back up and leak all over their first floor living space. Not only did the contractor do a number on the plumbing system, he also left a flue pipe unattached to the wall, causing a Carbon Monoxide leak. As work begins, more problems start to surface, literally. John DiSilvia discovers a major ant infestation living behind their walls and in their ceiling and a roof that can't drain properly. JD and his team get to work, sealing the carbon monoxide leak, fixing the downstairs living space that has flooded so many times and creating a new utility room and private space for Dawn and Glenn to do their laundry, the issue that started the mess in the first place.

Season 2, Episode 2

A Ridge Beam Too Far

Homeowners Bob and Marie used their retirement savings to pay a contractor who promised to fix their roof. It was caving in so badly it could be seen from the street. But the shoddy workmanship did more harm than good.Enter John DeSilvia to the rescue the renovation. After discovering major structural problems and a carbon monoxide leak in the attic, John and his crew work through a 111 degree heat wave to make the home safe once again . They reapair the roof, remodel the living room and fix the carbon monoxide leak that threatened to poison the homewoners. All he hard work pays off when Bob and Marie return, stunned to see thier new roof and brand newliving room. But the biggest relief? The home is now structurally sound, and safe.

Season 2, Episode 3

Pool Me Once Shame on You, Pool Me Twice Shame on Me

Homeowners John and Melissa are drowning in damages from their two failed attempts to fix their pool, a process that drained the couple's pockets and left them unable to update their drab and cramped kitchen. Over the past four years their pool has become overrun with algae and their kitchen has been neglected. John DeSilvia renovates the eyesore and safety hazard of a pool and delivers a beautiful open concept kitchen, pulling John and Melissa out of the deep end.

The Case of the Construction Con-man

Barbara bought her dream home with the hopes of raising the roof on a small bedroom in the attic for her grandson. But after a con-man of a contractor worked on her house and wrecked the bedroom, she and her grandson were left helpless and with a home that could cave in on them at any moment. The construction con-man even convinced Barbara to put a bathroom in her bedroom and left a gaping hole in her floor that she could fall straight through to the kitchen. John DeSilvia steps in and repairs the roof, finishes the bedroom and makes this home the dream space Barbara always wanted.

Season 2, Episode 5

Addition by Subtraction

Karen and Derek thought they found their dream home when they purchased a house that had a brand new two-story addition off the back. The couple did everything right and passed two home inspections, but after a rough winter that left them with icicles forming inside their home, they discovered that the contractor who sold them the house had completely taken them for a ride. John DeSilvia steps in to investigate the addition and is appalled by what he finds. The load bearing, two-story addition that Karen and Derek loved so much is supported by a foundation for a deck and needs to come down immediately. What's worse is that it's an illegal structure and JD can't rebuild it. With the help of an excavator, JD demolishes the addition and builds a new structure in its place. Will the new structure revive Karen and Derek's dream home? Or will their dreams be crushed like their addition?

Sunroom Nightmare

All Dino wanted was a place to entertain his friends, but when his contractor persuaded him to enclose his porch with a sunroom, Dino's dream for an awesome space to entertain became a nightmare. John DeSilvia comes to his aid.

Season 2, Episode 7

Water Water Everywhere

Homeowner Chimere is a mother of three and trying to do it all. The contractor she hired to fix her two bathrooms left her house a wreck. Leaks from his shoddy installations caused water to build up and collapse the ceiling in the basement below. Now Chimere is left without a fully-functioning bathroom and no space for her children to play or keep their things. JD and his crew come to the rescue. They discover that the entire situation could have been prevented by a two-dollar fix.

Season 2, Episode 8

Bad Bath and Beyond

Sachin and Divya hired a contractor to convert their huge master bathroom into a beautiful oasis, but after giving him their final payment, he took off and they never saw him again. Now they are left with a half finished space with paint on some walls and demo debris including their original tub left behind. John DeSilvia and his team come to their rescue, discovering that their original contractor left them not only with a mess, but a dangerous situation when he cut through a major support beam to fit in the shower drain pipe. JD has to start from scratch and comes up with a new layout and turns the oversized space into the bathroom and walk in closet of Sachin and Divya's dreams.

Season 2, Episode 9

Besting Asbestos

Kate and Greg hired a contractor to install a French drain and bathroom with a bathtub in their basement. When they came home to see their walls were sliced along the bottom and the contractor duct taped them back together, they quickly kicked him off the job. Now they are left with no place to bathe their son who is getting too big for the kitchen sink, and a hazardous situation with exposed wiring and insulation right at their child's eye line. JD comes to their rescue and discovers the situation is much worse than Kate and Greg thought. Not only is everything the contractor did wrong, but he also missed a glaring mistake, damaged asbestos tiles right on the laundry room floor. JD and his team leap into action and give Kate and Greg the basement of their dreams.

Season 2, Episode 10

Square Vent, Round Hole

Homeowners Vanessa and Danny were left with a slew of problems in their house after they hired a contractor to replace their HVAC system, do an oil-to-gas heat conversion, and fix some problems with their bathroom. Their contractor cut corners everywhere possible, leaving spray foam and dirt under their tub surround, empty holes for duct work all over the house, and a vent pipe buried somewhere in their attic. John DeSilvia and his team step in to fix the problems and as they investigate the damages, things only get worse. It's one headache after another with this space, but in the end, John returns the house to Vanessa and Danny, and makes it safe and beautiful.

Season 2, Episode 11

The Disintegrating Deck

Homeowners Haiwen and Jaisong hired a contractor to build a deck, and although he left them with a structure that looks like a deck, it is on the brink of collapsing right under their feet. With no footers, a ledger board that is pulling away from the house, and plywood that is saturated in water causing the screws to rot and pop out, contractor John DeSilvia and his team can't use anything from the original construction. As they demo, they discover that water has been seeping into the house and causing the structural header holding up the second floor to completely rot away. What started as a bad deck turns into a seriously dangerous situation in the home that JD and his crew have to repair.

Season 2, Episode 12

You Have to Be A Detective

Homeowners Gina and John call in licensed contractor John DeSilvia to fix simple water damage left behind by a deceptive contractor. But after a little detective work John discovers that there are more serious issues. John calls in a mold remediation team to make the room safe but while the mold is being taken care of, John discovers a fire hazard and health risk being caused by an un-vented dryer. He gets his best guys in to take care of that as well. It's one headache after another on this home, but in the end, John delivers safe and beautiful indoor and outdoor living space back to the homeowners.

Season 2, Episode 13

After the Flood and Fire

Homeowners Tara and Jimmy thought Hurricane Sandy was the scariest night of their lives. That was until the night an electrical fire started in their home, after they hired a contractor to rewire the house and fix other damage caused by Superstorm Sandy. Enter licensed contractor John DeSilvia, who takes matters into his own hands and investigates the damages done by the previous contractor. He finds that the contractor didn't replace any of the electrical in the house and did not properly repair the roof. John and his team decide to do better than just fix the shoddy work the old contractor left behind; they go all out and build Tara and Jimmy a brand new addition, including a new kitchen.
